Cyberoptics
--- Cyberoptics is a lightweight image gallery with Fediverse integration - no frills, no drama, no begging. Developed with PHP to stir things up a bit. This project was created as an alternative solution because of the unfortunate behavior of Dansup, the developer of Pixelfed, who has publicly insulted critics and made transphobic remarks. As a result, I am seeking a new way to upload my images. ## Current Status Follow the project in the fediverse: Mastodon - [x] Image compression - [x] AI Image poisoning - SVG Hack - [x] Automatic removal of EXIF data (Default Setting) - [x] Display of EXIF data (Optional per upload) - [x] Image upload ## In Development The following features are currently in development, with more to come: - [ ] Image Filter effects with LUTs - [ ] Pin Post - [ ] Multi-User - [ ] Fediverse integration - [ ] Video upload - [ ] Image Set Upload ## Note on Fediverse Integration Cyberoptics will not generate its own Fediverse instance. Instead, you can use your existing Fediverse account to post via Cyberoptics. Why am I doing this? There’s no need to create more Fediverse instances that further clutter the network when it can be done in a lightweight manner. ## Project Status Please note, this project is not yet public. In homage to Dansup's style, we're keeping it under wraps for now... just for laughs!

## Contribute The aim of Cyberoptics is to be **lightweight**. This means it should be simple for both visitors and those creating their own Cyberoptics Gallery. No node.js, no ruby, no redis - just plain, boring PHP. If you agree with this approach and want to contribute to Cyberoptics, that's fantastic!
